When I saw Money Saving Mom link this copycat recipe for Chick-Fil-A nuggets, I knew we had to give them a try. Of course my kiddo has never eaten at Chick-Fil-A, but I devour their nuggets any chance I get. I’m a fan!
This recipe does contain egg. And instead of peanut oil, I think my hubby cooked them in canola oil. I would have done coconut oil. But hey, I won’t question anyone who gets me out of cooking.
And we used almond milk for the milk. I’m sure any dairy-free milk of choice would work. Just don’t cook main dishes with vanilla flavored milk. I speak from experience.
My kids now want these over Tyson chicken nuggets. I’m flattered! And they do taste close to Chick-Fil-A nuggets. When my non-allergic son recently tasted Chick-Fil-A for the first time, he commented, “Mom, these taste like your chicken nuggets”. Woohoo!
