How about a new dairy-free milk option made with peas? And what if I told you it’s packed with protein for your milk allergy kids? Oh, and it tastes good, too!
Well, that’s what you get with Ripple’s dairy-free milk, and our enthusiastic readers told us we had to try it. They were right, it’s really tasty AND nutritious!
Compared to our usual almond milk, Ripple contains 8x more protein, 10x more potassium, less sugar, more iron, and it contains Omega-3’s! As a mom of growing boys, what’s not to love?
Right now I can only find this locally at our Target store, but I shop there on a regular basis so that’s ok. And a word to the wise, if you say too loudly to your kids while shopping that you’re looking for “pea milk”…you may turn a few heads. Just saying. Oh, and the boys think that’s hilarious.
One son loves Ripple milk straight up. The other son likes to thin it down with a splash of almond milk. And I am thrilled to finally have a protein source for our beloved Green Monster Smoothies. I’ve never fully trusted a protein powder for my kids so I always left that out of their smoothies. Ripple works perfectly for both milk and protein in the smoothies.
My kids most like Ripple’s chocolate flavor and honestly when we run out, they immediately add it to the grocery list. Ripple is now our chocolate milk of choice, and my kids actually want to drink milk everyday now! Thanks, Ripple!
