Today we got a little crazy with our favorite milk-free and egg-free homemade brownie recipe. Specifically, we made Oreo Brownies!
Serve these to your milk allergy kids, and they will think you’re the best mom on the planet.
Serve these to guests, and they will have no idea this extreme treat is milk and egg free.
I once took these to a church potluck, and they were completely devoured…before all the other desserts. That normal tasting, folks!
To make these, whip up our brownie batter according to the recipe and feel free to add some crumbled Oreos to the mix before baking. I skipped this step, but it’s an option.
Once your brownies are baked, with or without Oreos mixed in, let them cool.
Then frost the brownies with dairy-free and egg-free icing like Pillsbury Supreme (check labels) or make your own. See my new favorite homemade icing recipe below.
Top the iced brownies with crumbled Oreos and serve.

DAIRY-FREE & EGG-FREE ICING
Mix chilled margarine and chilled shortening with a mixer, in a chilled bowl. Add vanilla. Slowly add powdered sugar. Put in refrigerator to chill before icing brownies, if necessary.
