Quinoa is all the rage as you know. But have you tried it for breakfast? As in cereal flakes?
We recently did, and it reminded me a lot of cream of wheat.I flavored it with coconut sugar and some Earth Balance dairy-free buttery spread, and it wasn’t bad at all.
It’s definitely worth trying especially if you want creative ways to eat quinoa or if you are looking for some new breakfast ideas.
Did my kids like it? Well, not so much. They prefer oatmeal or cream of wheat. But I didn’t mind it.
