Grilling season is the best because my hubby enjoys helping with dinner and cooking on weekends.
While he works on his creative outdoor recipes,
I get to sit on the patio and catch up with him after a long day.
The kiddos set the table, and then I quickly throw together some garden sides.
It’s a summer routine that I hope never goes away.
Admittedly, I’m not a big meat eater.
And steaks have always been one of my least favorite dishes.
But that’s no longer the case.
Hubby has been making an incredibly tasty, dairy-free rub, and I’m completely smitten.
I now thaw out double the amount of meat so we can use steaks a second day for steak tacos. 🙂
Grill once, eat twice. Can’t beat that!
I had to share this easy recipe with you today.
If steak sauce makes you nervous because of food allergies,
this simple rub may be just what you need for your next steak dinner.
Dairy-Free Montreal Steak Rub
2 Tbs. paprika
2 Tbs. crushed pepper
2 Tbs. kosher salt
1 Tbs. minced garlic
1 Tbs. onion flakes
1 Tbs. dill
Mix spices together, rub onto raw steak, let sit for 5 minutes, cook on the grill to preferred done-ness.
