If your food allergy family is enjoying Oreo cookies on the regular,
you may be ready to take things to the next level.
OREO TRUFFLES, baby. Woohoo!
That’s right, the kiddos and I got to work making these fun treats for Christmas.
But they’d be good anytime of year.
Simply grab your favorite allergy-safe Oreo flavor (we did mint),
grab your favorite dairy-free cream cheese (there are tons now!),
and grab some powdered sugar.
You’re good to go.
These literally take 15 minutes, just 3 ingredients, the perfect last minute treat.
Kids can even help! And they absolutely love Oreos in this fun, new way.
We dipped our Oreo Truffles in powered sugar instead of in melted chocolate because it’s so much easier and cheaper.
I conserve expensive dairy-free chocolate for when it’s absolutely necessary.

Below is my simpler version, Oreo Truffles coated in powdered sugar.
Your kids are going to love you for this…
and you’re going to catch yourself nibbling on them, too.
They don’t taste dairy-free. 🙂
See the recipe below.

DAIRY-FREE OREO TRUFFLES
Makes 20 Truffles
OREO TRUFFLE INGREDIENTS
20 Crushed Oreos
1/4 Container (2 oz) of Dairy-Free Cream Cheese
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
HOW TO MAKE OREO TRUFFLES
Crush 20 Oreos in a food processor or in a baggie with a rolling pen or meat tenderizer. My boys love the job of beating the cookies to death.
Blend together the crushed Oreos and cream cheese. I use my Kitchen Aid mixer (affiliate) on high speed.
Form the mixture into 1″ balls. A melon baller works great. (affiliate)
Roll truffles in powdered sugar.
May be served immediately.
Store in refrigerator.
When served from refrigerator, let warm to room temperature first.
Hope you love these easy Oreo truffles as much as we do!
