It’s been so fun following along with Money Saving Mom’s Freezer Lunchbox Series, dairy-free style.
For the homemade pizza rolls,
I decided to simplify the process by skipping homemade pizza crust.
The homemade crust looks amazing and is a dairy-free recipe if you want to go that route.
But I used dairy-free bagels for the pizza crust instead.
I don’t know about your house, but pizza is a big deal around here.
And having pizza frozen and ready to go is always a good idea!
Even with milk allergy, frozen pizza is possible with homemade pizza bagels.
Here’s how:
FREEZER BAGEL PIZZAS
INGREDIENTS
Bagels
Onions
Tomatoes
Burger or Applegate Pepperoni
Dairy-Free Cheese Shreds
PIZZA SAUCE
1 small can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. dried garlic
First make the pizza sauce by simply combining the sauce ingredients.
Then spread pizza sauce over the bagels.
Next top the bagels with your favorite toppings and finish off with dairy-free cheese.
Bake pizzas in the oven on 350 until heated through and the bagels brown.
Serve fresh or freeze according to instructions below.
TO FREEZE
Place baked pizzas on a cookie sheet and freeze in the freezer.
Then place frozen pizzas into a freezer baggie or freezer container & store in freezer.
Pull out individual pizza bagels as you need them.
Reheat in the oven or microwave.
Hope you enjoy these dairy-free, freezer bagel pizzas as much as we do!
