Follow your own doctor’s instructions for managing food allergies.
Thankfully, desensitization of food allergies is a huge conversation these days.
My son is treating his milk allergy!
But right now, there are a handful of ways to do this.
And it’s all very confusing to food allergy parents who for years have been told to strictly avoid food allergens.
So we wanted to talk to Dr. Robert Kaufmann about two kinds of food allergy treatments.
OIT, also known as oralimmunotherapy.
And SLIT, sublingual immunotherapy.
Some doctors offer both, some offer only one, some won’t do either with their patients.
My OIT allergist does it all.
We knew you’d love to hear more from them!
See the short interview below.
Then be sure to hop in our Milk Allergy Mom Membership where I share our entire OIT journey in real-time.
The good, the bad, the ugly.
We would love to support you on your food allergy adventure with the best help, hope, and fun your family deserves.
Many of our members are now treating their food allergies, as a result. Some have even graduated treatment!

I think you will learn something new today.
And you may see the doctor cry, as well. 😉
