Smoked Sausage Sheet Pan Meal
Allergy-friendly dinner just got a whole lot easier.
Easy, dairy-free casseroles are few and far between.
So I’m putting this dinner meal into the casserole category just for fun.
This is dedicated to all you busy allergy moms who just want an easy, one pan meal…
that won’t take a lot of brain power or slaving over the stove.
My kind of meal.
And my husband loves that it’s deliciously seasoned and roasted…
not a mushy crock pot meal.
Then there’s the kiddo who’s a little picky and doesn’t like his food mixed together.
I simply make him a separated version and put it in the oven in Corningware.

And I learned to not skimp on the amount I make because he loves the leftovers.

WHY MAKE A SHEET PAN MEAL?
One, it can be prepared ahead of time! I wash, cut, and put the ingredients on the pan, cover it with plastic wrap, put it in the refrigerator, and hubby or I can put it in the oven later in the day or next day.
Two, it’s one pan! Less dishes to wash later.
Three, it’s baked. No need to stand over the stove. Once it’s prepped, you can let it go in the oven for it’s half hour of cooking…with just one toss midway through.
Four, these can be very allergy-friendly! Sheet pan meals often call for simple ingredients like meat, starch, veggie, and spices. That’s an easy, rounded meal with no creamy soups, cheeses, etc. needed.

SMOKED SAUSAGE SHEET PAN INGREDIENTS
Package of 14 oz. smoked sausage, cut into 1/2″ coins
2 cans green beans, drained
4 cups red potatoes, diced
1 yellow onion, chopped
5 garlic cloves
1.5 Tbs olive oil
1 tsp seasoned salt
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp rosemary
black pepper, to taste
SMOKED SAUSAGE SHEET PAN DIRECTIONS
Place all ingredients on the cookie sheet.
Toss all ingredients until evenly coated by seasonings and olive oil.
Spread ingredients evenly on the cookie sheet, in a single layer.
Bake on 425 degrees in the oven for 30-40 minutes, tossing halfway through.
