My daughter just turned 6 last Wednesday. Since the day she was born she had a dairy sensitivity. As a baby she had allergy testing done and found it was only a lactose intolerance. Fast forward two months ago I started noticing her breaking out in hives every time she ate cheese or yogurt which never was an issue before. So I made an appointment with her pediatrician who referred us to an immunologist. That appointment was today and she was officially diagnosed with a dairy allergy and we were told to avoid all dairy even lactose free types so I'm at a loss on what all we can get because milk is an ingredient in ALOT of things. PLEASE help a mama out!

Hello Paige. So glad you found us, we are here to help. We've set up several ways you can receive inspiration here at Milk Allergy Mom. Just head to our homepage, milkallergymom.com. And we can help with recipes, shopping, AND support for living with milk allergy. You can do this. And it's easier with friends. I've been an allergy mom 16 years, it will be ok. xoxo

Hi Danielle! Start by asking your allergist and possibly getting in to see a dietician. That will get the ball rolling. Be sure to know all the names for milk to find on labels. I also hope to see you in our dairy-free shopping group! The community there is very helpful.
