Barbecue Sauce by Sweet Baby Rays

Sweet Baby Rays

There’s nothing I love more than grilling season in the Midwest.

Because I love grilling? Nah.

Because HUBBY loves grilling, and that means I don’t have to cook.

And THAT, my friend, is an allergy moms dream come true.

A break in the kitchen? Sign me up.

Now do I love eating some delicious food hot off the grill?

You bet. And so do my kids.

And as grilling season is getting off to another great start,

I’m noticing there’s something we go through quickly around here and must keep stocked at all times.

Our favorite barbecue sauce!

PLEASE NOTE: Here at Milk Allergy Mom, we simply share products that work for our family. Please consult your own doctor before trying food, supplements, or other products. Also read all labels and call companies for the latest, most accurate product information.

When food allergies began for us many years ago, I remember hesitating to try barbecue sauce.

But as you know, it’s a staple when you’re grilling up amazing outdoor food.

So we had to find something that worked for our milk and nut and other allergies at the time.

And the very first brand we tried…we loved and have stuck to ever since.

That’s fifteen years of Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbecue Sauce.

Ingredients shown below.

I love that we can pick this brand up just about everywhere.

It’s even one of my staples from Aldi

From fancy grilled meat like ribs and brisket to simple things like chicken nuggets

my kids love their barbecue sauce at the ready.

Rub it on. Dip it. It works either or both ways.

Below are the ingredients listed on our bottle.

Corn syrup? Yes, I know. Don’t hold that against me.

If you want to make your own barbecue sauce with minimal ingredients,

try the sauce I make for our crockpot short ribs

I’ve got you covered.

Note, we don’t call companies for manufacturing information because our allergist doesn’t deem that necessary for us.

If your allergist prefers you call companies, please do so.

And double check labels while shopping because ingredients can change at any time.

We hope you get to enjoy some tasty barbecue grilling this summer!
