Not gonna lie, we have plenty of chocolate posts here at Milk Allergy Mom.
Through sixteen years of milk allergy, we keep our eyes open for any new options that pop up.
Because…can you ever have enough chocolate?!
And to that, I say no. No you can’t.
PLEASE NOTE: Here at Milk Allergy Mom, we simply share products that work for our family. Please consult your own doctor before trying food, supplements, or other products. Also read all labels and call companies for the latest, most accurate product information.
Semi-sweet, dark, mini chips, regular morsels, chunks…we will take it all.
Throw in white chocolate that’s dairy-free and holy moly.
That’s when you know you’ve arrived.
So is another chocolate chip post allowed?
I think you’re going to say YES, especially when I tell you what makes this one stand out from the rest.
Great Value Free-From White Chocolate Chips
Walmart is now carrying their own allergy-friendly bags of chocolate chips: dark, semi-sweet, and WHITE!
One, these are easily accessible because you know, Walmarts everywhere.
Two, these are affordable at under $4 a bag. My pocketbook loves that.
Three, these are delicious!
The white chocolate, especially, stands out from the other brands we’ve tried.
Look how white it is on these chocolate covered pretzels we made.
Seriously, these were the best chocolate pretzels we’ve ever made…and we’ve been making them dairy-free for many, many years.
Also look how thick the chocolate is, that was just one coat.
Many dairy-free white chocolate brands are a yellow color.
I literally had to double check the bag as I made these pretzels to make sure I wasn’t using dairy white chocolate on accident.
See ingredients below.
Since we grabbed both the semi-sweet and the white chocolate, I have both our package labels for you.
These are even labeled organic!
Free from milk, egg, peanut, tree nut, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish…the top 8 allergens.
Plus, no artificial color or flavor. BAM!
I thought we would drizzle semi-sweet chocolate over the white chocolate once it set.
But the white chocolate was so good…
we decided not to mess with a good thing.
We went straight to the Christmas sprinkles.
Here is our label for the white chocolate. Always double-check labels for yourself. ingredients can change.
And here’s the label on our semi-sweet chocolate chips. Again, check labels for yourself, too.
If these chocolate chips work for you, what would you make with them?
We’d love to hear in the comments!
