With all the baking I do in our food allergy home,

I’ve come to really appreciate the better ingredients over the mediocre.

For instance, it’s organic vanilla extract all the way for me.

I also tend to use organic sugars and unbleached flours when I can.

Maybe someday I’ll grind my own flour, now that would be epic.

Just recently, I really wanted to find a better baking powder for my pantry.

One without added aluminum would be wonderful.

So when I saw Bob’s Red Mill at my local health store, I had to snag it up and give it a try.

Take my baking to a healthier level, yes please!

Turns out, it’s been working great in my recipes such as:

LABEL INFORMATION

Bob’s Red Mill baking powder is marked vegan and gluten-free.

It does contain corn.

And it’s processed in a plant with soy and tree nuts.

PROCESSED IN A PLANT WITH TREE NUTS

As you may know, my kiddo is allergic to most tree nuts.

That’s probably why I haven’t purchased this product before now.

But he’s passed several nut challenges recently…

more on that inside our membership

In addition, my kiddo had baked treats using Bob’s Red Mill ingredients at Erin McKenna’s bakery in Disney Springs several times in the past.

Both Erin McKenna’s and Bob’s Red Mill tout stringent cleaning practices at the mill.

So I was willing to finally try.

If you’re allergic to nuts, however, definitely do your own digging and calling of the company if you need to.

I just wanted to share what’s working for us lately because I’m pretty excited about this for our family.

I hope it can work for yours, too.

Below are the ingredients on our package. But always double-check labels, ingredients can change.

You can conveniently purchase online, if you’d like (affiliate link).
