If you have an Aldi in your area and haven’t shopped there yet for dairy-free snack options, what are you waiting for?!
We love Aldi and save a boatload of money by shopping there.
Here are some of the favorite snacks we keep stocked at our house.
Be sure to check labels and call Aldi for any manufacturing questions. Ingredients and processing can change at any time.
That’s right, Aldi is one of our top strategies for saving money on groceries with two teen boys in the house.
Not only do we love Aldi pantry staples and fresh produce…
but we also buy plenty of favorite snacks at Aldi, too.
PLEASE NOTE: Here at Milk Allergy Mom, we simply share products that work for our family. Please consult your own doctor before trying food, supplements, or other products. Also read all labels and call companies for the latest, most accurate product information.
These snacks have all worked for our milk and tree nut allergies. But of course ingredients and processing can change.
Also, don’t assume the name brands of these items are safe for your allergies. Aldi brand ingredients can vary from name brand ingredients. Always check labels!
I do hope this list gives you a good starting point for exploring safe snacks for your family.
1. THIN WHEAT CRACKERS
My kids enjoy these on my charcuterie boards.
2. WOVEN WHOLE WHEAT CRACKERS
We often pack these in school lunches with meat and dairy-free cheese.
3. HONEY WHEAT CRACKERS
I keep a tub of these on hand for when the kids need to bring a snack to a party.
The tub is huge for sharing.
4. ANIMAL CRACKERS
Kids never outgrow animal crackers. My teens still enjoy these.
5. CINNAMON GRAHAM CRACKERS
Aldi also has regular graham crackers for things like dairy-free s’mores.
But my kids and hubby love cinnamon so these are a nice alternative and fun way to mix things up.
6. FIG BARS
When you tire of dairy-free Oreos, here’s another possible cookie choice.
7. UNSWEET APPLESAUCE CUPS
We keep these stocked for egg replacement in our banana bread recipe.
