This coffee protein shake is a new addition to my breakfast rotation.

It's just a handful of healthy ingredients, with protein.

Coffee as the base, no milk needed.

You can use cold brew coffee or just strong cold coffee if that's what you have.

Some banana for sweetness and creaminess.

Almond butter for protein.

Plain or vanilla yogurt for more protein plus creaminess.

Ice to make it super cold, just the way I like it.

And vanilla protein powder to complete the concoction.

Here's the recipe!

NOTES

Here's how we make a bulk batch of cold brew coffee for the week.

Here's the dairy-free yogurt we use in this recipe. Use the soy version for added protein.

Here's our favorite dairy-free protein powder.

We get our natural almond butter at Aldi for a great price.

2 tablespoons almond butter
1 scoop vanilla protein powder, dairy-free
5-10 ice cubes
