Banana tortilla roll-up’s are my kiddo’s absolute favorite.
Breakfast, snack, lunch…he’ll eat them anytime of day.
If you can’t have peanut butter, consider using your safe peanut butter alternative. Perhaps sunflower butter, seed butter, nut butter, or even cookie butter.
See instructions along with a quick video below!
Banana tortilla roll-up’s are a great sandwich alternative.
If for nothing else, I keep flour tortillas stocked just for this.
Because we outgrew peanut allergies years ago, I like to make our banana roll-up’s with sugar-free peanut butter.
Then, I drizzle a little honey over the bananas before rolling them up.
Honey is totally optional, however.
HOW TO MAKE BANANA TORTILLA ROLL-UP’S
Make sure your tortillas are dairy-free and safe for your allergies. Same for your peanut butter or alternative.
And be sure to see our video demo in this post…because this is kinda hard to explain in writing, ha ha.
Here’s my best effort.
1. Slice a half banana into 1/2 inch slices.
2. Spread peanut butter (or your safe alternative) evenly over a flour tortilla.
3. Take one edge of the tortilla and fold it over about one inch.
4. Lay the sliced bananas parallel to the fold line, about a half inch from the fold.
5. Drizzle the line of bananas with honey (optional).
6. Roll the tortilla over the bananas and finish rolling until the roll-up seals closed.
7. Cut the roll-up in half with a serrated knife (optional).
