Does this have real cream cheese in it? I'm needing a recipe with no dairy whatsoever,can anyone yelp?
Hi Randi, check labels but it has been dairy-free cream cheese frosting. Our son ate it with anaphylactic milk allergy.
Yeah, that's pretty amazing. The downside is it's so artificial, but I'm sure that's why it's so delicious! I saw it had Red 40 in it, I try to stay away from that.
We've used it, and it does taste like cream cheese. Freaky.
I'm not a cream cheese frosting fan but those in my food allergy support group use it and like it. We were talking about things you'd be suprised to find are dairy free (like Kraft Creamy Italian and Cucumber Ranch dressings!).

Ok- hubby's favorite cake is red velvet with cream cheese frosting. When I'm too lazy to make it from scratch, this is his perferred brand. Granted, we don't have allergies, so I have never read what's in it. But he perfer this brand over other brands. I personally don't like cream cheese frosting, but hubby is a sweet tooth, so I assume it tastes ok.
Good to know- I would have never even read the package. Ditto on the Tofutti cream cheese- we love it!

Wow! I had no idea! I just assumed all cream cheese frosting contained dairy. For what it's worth, I really really like Tofutti Cream Cheese. Really!
