Fruit Dip Recipe Dairy-Free

bowl of dairy free fruit dip with strawberry

Landmark moment at our house, my boys got to try fruit dip for the first time!

I’m such a fan of fruit dip so I couldn’t wait to introduce them…dairy-free style, of course.

This is always a simple recipe, using just cream cheese and sugar.

But we love the splash of lemon juice to cut the dairy-free taste in our milk-free, vegan cream cheese.

If you really want to go all out, try this sugar cookie fruit pizza.

It’s sooooo delicious!

But this fruit dip is a very close second, your kids will love it.

Great for even the pickiest eaters, guaranteed.

We even serve this dairy-free fruit dip to guests,

and they don’t taste that it’s allergy friendly at all.

If you can do egg, I recommend using marshmallow fluff instead of powdered sugar.

It will yield the best thickness.

But if you are an egg allergy family or vegan, using powdered sugar will work well, instead.

Using granulated sugar will make the dip rather grainy, it’s our least favorite ingredient to use.

Now here’s the recipe, it’s too easy!

FRUIT DIP DAIRY-FREE

2 oz. (1/4 a container) milk-free cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar or marshmallow fluff (contains egg)
1/2 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice

Whisk the ingredients together and let sit in the refrigerator for an hour.

Serve with washed and sliced apples, orange slices, grapes, strawberries, or other favorite fruit!

Store leftovers in the refrigerator.

Hope you enjoy this easy dairy-free fruit dip as much as we do!

You can save this fruit dip pin for later.
