Finding safe granola can be tricky with milk allergy.
Add in a tree nut allergy, and it’s near impossible.
So glad we found this brand!
See ingredients below.
PLEASE NOTE: Here at Milk Allergy Mom, we simply share products that work for our family. Please consult your own doctor before trying food, supplements, or other products. Also read all labels and call companies for the latest, most accurate product information.
Back in 2018, I attended a food allergy event in Chicago and received in my goody bag some new allergy-friendly products I hadn’t tried before.
It was the first time I tried anything made by Safe + Fair.
And I don’t remember exactly what product was in my bag, but it wasn’t granola.
Safe + Fair granola didn’t become a household staple until hubby found it one day at Big Lots. of all places.
Excited to find granola labeled so allergy-friendly,
hubs enthusiastically sent me a pic and asked if I wanted maple or latte flavored.
To which I replied…BOTH!
Safe + Fair is made in a facility free from:
- peanut
- tree nut
- milk
- egg
- wheat
- soy
- shellfish
- fish
- sesame
Top 9 free!
Now I know, with that kind of list, one would wonder if it could even taste good.
And to that I answer with a resounding YES!
Not just good. But unbelievably delicious.
As in, the best store bought granola I’ve ever had.
My kids like the maple flavor the very best, and I have to agree.
Such a pronounced flavor of maple. SO GOOD.
See ingredients below.
Then I found a birthday cake flavor at Target…
and it’s amazing, too.
In fact, if you check out their website…
you will see there are tons of fun granola flavors!
I’d love to try them all.
Safe + Fair Granola Flavors
- chocolate chip cookie dough
- banana bread
- all American (berry)
- strawberry shortcake
- key lime
- honey crisp apple pie
- blueberry cinnamon
- vanilla latte
- anything but plain
- pumpkin pie
- chocolate candy cane
- gingerbread cookie
- full stack (maple)
- birthday cake
How fun are those names?
And yes, the birthday cake really does taste like birthday cake.
Full stack totally tastes like maple syrup.
So I can only imagine how spot on the other flavors must be, too!
We love eating this granola on our favorite dairy free yogurt.
Add fresh berries and truly find yourself in heaven.
Granted, these bags of granola are on the pricier side.
That’s why we add yogurt and berries to stretch it further.
Rarely do we just eat a bowl of granola as a cereal at my house.
And if I have it made, I’ll also use this granola on my dairy-free chia pudding.
Sometimes I use both chia pudding and yogurt in a layered parfait, topped with granola and fruit. YUM!
Being from Illinois, I’m also excited that these granolas are made right in midwestern Chicago.
Now here are ingredients listed on my packages for your info.
Just be sure to always double check labels for yourself, ingredients can change.
