I’m so excited to document this moment, the first time my son learned to grill with dad.

Kiddo and I had hit up the local peach orchard one afternoon…after getting lost for fifteen minutes on backroads in the country. That was fun.

And we came home with entirely too many peaches for a family of four to eat fresh. HA!

SO, it was time to find some ways to enjoy these summer beauties before they went bad.

Thankfully, kiddo found a grilled peach recipe he wanted to try.

Next stop, we hit up the local grocery store for dairy-free dressing and dairy-free whipped cream.

Then when dad came home from work, the grilling duo got to work. See our video in this post!

GRILLED PEACH DESSERT

Even though the grilled peaches were delicious right off the grill as a dinner side dish…

there are a few dairy-free ways you could take them up a notch and turn them into a tasty dessert.

Feel free to sprinkle cinnamon on top, too.

We enjoyed our first round with whipped cream and cinnamon…tasted amazing!

Now here’s the easy recipe.

GRILLED BALSAMIC PEACHES

INGREDIENTS

4 fresh peaches
1 cup balsamic dressing
2 tablespoons honey

Make sure the balsamic dressing is safe for your food allergies.

DIRECTIONS

Wash peaches well.

Cut peaches in half and remove pits.

Combine dressing and honey in a large bowl.

Gently toss the peaches in the mixture. Don’t throw mixture out.

Grill peaches on both sides, continuing to brush more glaze on them as you grill.

Cook until tender and caramelized.

Serve warm. Optionally, top with dairy-free vanilla ice cream, yogurt, or whipped cream.

Optional as well, garnish with cinnamon.

Hope you love these dairy-free grilled peaches as much as we do!
