Grilled Chicken Sandwich Dairy-Free

Are food allergies keeping you from enjoying your favorite restaurant chicken sandwiches?

No worries, it’s so easy to make your own at home. Dairy-free and delicious.

See below for one of our favorite dinners, especially when it’s grilling season.

Move over restaurant and frozen chicken sandwiches,

nothing beats a juicy chicken sandwich hot off the grill right at home.

Even though we mostly cook roasted chickens at our house (because they are most affordable)…

we can’t resist a good sale on chicken breasts.

Sometimes hubby grills them, basted with barbecue sauce.

Other times he just seasons with salt and pepper, and we throw them in buns.

Delicious, juicy grilled chicken sandwiches!

Dairy-free buns, tomato slices, lettuce, mayo.

Even my pickiest kiddo who usually likes very plain sandwiches enjoys these chicken sandwiches with all the fixings.

I mean, even veggies are involved!

Add slices of avocado for extra deliciousness. Yum!

We serve our dairy-free grilled chicken with french fries safe for our allergies.

And an extra veggie is always good, too.

Broccoli salad is a yummy choice for summer grilling.

One more tip before we go?

I’ve found the BEST way to reheat chicken breasts the next day so you don’t end up with dry chicken sandwiches.

HOW TO REHEAT COOKED CHICKEN BREASTS

1. Heat oven to 325 degrees.

2. Places just a little water in the bottom of a baking dish.

3. Put the chicken in the dish of shallow water.

4. Cover dish with foil.

5. Heat the chicken for 10 minutes.

This technique even moistens up cooked chicken that’s a little dry.

Definitely don’t use a microwave to reheat.

Low oven, little water, foil tent…works so well!

We hope your family enjoys grilled chicken sandwiches as much as we do.
