Instant Bubble Milk Tea Dairy-Free
Boba milk tea is so popular at coffee shops, but it's rarely offered dairy-free.
So I'm excited to have a quick way to make it dairy-free at home!
That's right, brown sugar boba milk tea with no dairy.

I first heard about bubble tea while working an event in a college town one summer.
We gifted a bunch of teen helpers coffee shop gift cards,
and I had to ask why all the teens loved the coffee shop so much.
The answer? Bubble tea!
Fast forward, a new rolled ice cream shop came to my own town.
And when I saw bubble boba tea on the menu, I flashed back to my time spent in that college town.
I had to give it a try!
Needless to say, it was love at first sip.
But it was pretty pricey at $7 a glass.
Then I saw instant brown sugar boba packs at Sam's costing about $1 a serving!
Plus, the Sam's packs were dairy-free!
That means I can now make brown sugar boba tea without dairy.
And I can save a ton of money on this new addiction.
Here's how to do it!
BOBA MILK TEA RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
1 packet instant brown sugar boba, dairy-free
1 cup cold tea
splash of dairy-free creamer or dairy-free milk
DIRECTIONS
- empty the instant brown sugar boba into a drinking glass
- heat for one minute in the microwave
- add a few ice cubes and stir until ice nearly melts
- add one cup of cold tea
- add splash of dairy-free creamer or dairy-free milk
- add additional ice to taste
