Of all places, I got this recipe idea in a self-help book I was reading.

I recommend it! Of Mess and Moxie. (affiliate)

Thanks to a sweet MAM member mama who knew this book was just what I needed.

I digress.

This “recipe” was in one of my favorite and the most hilarious chapters…

about grocery shopping.

Basically the author hashed out how awful grocery shopping is.

Boy could I relate, I laughed out loud!

She recommended this as her go-to easy dinner for shopping days.

My first thought was, this sounded too fancy to be a dairy-free option.

I can count how many times our milk allergy family has had ciabatta bread.

Zero.

But I took a screenshot of the recipe ingredients…just in case.

And next time I was shopping at Aldi, I did some investigating.

Guess what?!

Dairy-free ciabatta!

Here are the ingredients for your convenience.

And if you need to call the company, please do.

We don’t call manufacturers because our track record doesn’t require it.

Always check labels, too, as ingredients can change.
