Well, my kiddo wasn’t necessarily missing cheesecake because he’s never had it.
Being allergic to milk all your life will do that to ya.
And I certainly never tried making a dairy-free cheesecake myself.
Just didn’t seem feasible.
Although, give me some credit points for serving up cheesecake parfait a few times. Ha!
Plopping ingredients into a cup is more my style, and the kids loved these when they were toddlers.
So since they did like sweet cream cheese dessert,
I flipped when I first saw this frozen cheesecake in the store.
As I suspected they would, my kids devoured it.
And now my kiddo asks me to buy one whenever we pass them in the grocery store.
Target. Walmart. And our favorite local health food store are a few places we see them.
The size is smaller than normal cheesecake,
about the size of a salad plate.
But it tastes very, very close to real cheese cake.
In fact, the whole family enjoys sharing with kiddo.
We really like the chocolate flavor with cookie crust.
However, plain, key lime, chocolate, and strawberry are also options, and good ones, too!
The crust is always delicious, despite being gluten-free.
Top with our favorite dairy-free whipped cream or fresh fruit.
See ingredients on our chocolate cheesecake below.
These make a really easy bring-your-own treat for parties, potlucks, and get togethers.
Great for a Thanksgiving Pie option in a pinch!
