Wonton Lasagna Cups Dairy-Free
Dairy-free lasagna can be tricky to make.
But it's quite easy when made in wonton wrappers!
This layered baked appetizer is so easy to make, in fact, that the kids love to help.
See the easy recipe below.
Money Saving Mom's Lunchbox Freezer Cooking Series was a fun challenge.
When she made these wonton lasagna cups, I thought these would be perfect to try dairy-free!
Our son had never had lasagna before. These could be really exciting if they worked.
Thankfully, kiddo could have wonton wrappers because he outgrew his egg allergy years ago.
But if you do have egg allergy, moms in our membership let us know that you can find vegan wonton wrappers. Let us know if you do!
What I most liked about the idea of lasagna as wonton cups...is that we didn't have to load the dish with dairy-free cheese.
Unlike with a big pan of lasagna, I could sprinkle in the dairy-free cheese shreds sparingly.
And it worked great!
You'll actually need a container of dairy-free sour cream, as well. I used that sparingly, too.
The experiment was a huge success and was really easy.
When we haven't had these for awhile, the fam will actually ask me to make lasagna cups again soon.
These also make a great appetizer for New Year's or Super Bowl.
We've even chosen different meats from chicken to beef to pepperoni...
whatever we have on hand to make them as quickly and easily as possible.
Here's how to make dairy-free lasagna cups!
