Oreo Brownies Dairy-Free Egg-Free

Serve these to your kids, and they'll think you're the best mom on the planet.
Serve these to guests, and they'll have no idea this extreme treat is milk and egg free.
I once took these to a church potluck, and they were the first dessert to disappear off the picnic table.
My pastor especially gave them rave reviews, ha ha.
Pretty impressive that the allergy-friendly dessert was the top winner.

OREO BROWNIES RECIPE
1. Whip up our homemade brownie batter or make up a boxed mix batter. Cherrybrook Kitchen makes an excellent allergy-friendly brownie mix!
2. Make sure your Oreos are safe for your food allergies by reading the label and calling the company, if need be.
3. Then add 5 crumbled dairy-free Oreos (½ cup) to the mix and bake.
4. Once your brownies are baked, let them cool.
5. Frost the brownies with allergy safe store-bought icing, organic icing, or homemade frosting.
6. Top the iced brownies with 5 more crumbled Oreos (½ cup).
7. Serve and enjoy!
Our vanilla icing recipe is below.
VANILLA ICING DAIRY FREE
INGREDIENTS
¼ cup chilled dairy-free margarine
¼ cup chilled shortening or solid coconut oil
1 and ¾ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
DIRECTIONS
Mix chilled margarine and chilled shortening with a mixer, in a chilled bowl.
Add vanilla.
Slowly add powdered sugar.
Put in refrigerator to chill before icing brownies, if necessary.
