Wonton Pizza Cups Dairy-Free
These pizza wonton cups make for a really easy appetizer.
And they can easily be made dairy-free, too!
See the recipe below, hope you love it.
For years we've been making these wonton cups, and it's a kid favorite!
The wontons we buy are dairy-free, but be sure to check labels and ingredients for yourself.
The ones we get in the cold section of the store's produce area do contain egg...
which always makes me a little hesitant to post recipes like this.
Rarely do our recipes contain egg.
However, other allergy moms have shared that there are vegan wonton wraps out there.
So if you manage egg allergy, be sure to look for those!
Once your allergy-friendly wraps are secured, putting these pizza cups together is EASY!
See the recipe below.
DAIRY-FREE PIZZA WONTON CUPS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lay one wonton wrapper each in muffin tin wells.
Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce in the bottom of each wrapper. Here's our easy pizza sauce recipe.
Layer a couple of pepperoni over the sauce.
Next sprinkle a little dairy-free shredded mozzarella over the pepperoni.
Repeat the sauce, pepperoni, cheese layers one more time.
Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the last layer of cheese. (optional)
Bake the wonton cups in the oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
Remove and let cool for 5 minutes before eating.
They come out very hot so don't burn your mouth.
We hope you love these dairy-free pizza wonton cups as much as we do!
You may also like our dairy-free lasagna wonton cups, too!
They are a great alternative to dairy-free lasagna, which can be a little daunting and hard to make dairy-free.
I like that wonton cups require much less cheese than traditional pizza or lasagna.
