Meet Our Board Certified Allergist Immunologist OIT Doctor

For years I was told by our readers how lucky I was to have such a wonderful, board certified, allergist & immunologist.

And people were right!

I probably wouldn’t have started Milk Allergy Mom if it weren’t for the magnitude of information and confidence she gave me as a young allergy mom.

Allergist Immunologist Dr. Siri

We met Dr. Siri back in 2006 when my son had his first anaphylactic reaction to cheese.

And over the years, she’s been part of some very landmark days for our family.

She saw us through a severe anaphylactic reaction,

calling me personally after I left a frazzled message from the ER.

She also worked closely with us in food challenges that introduced egg, soy, and even peanut back into both my boys’ diets!

And together we did baked-in desensitizing long before oral immunotherapy was a “thing”.

She also sponsored our FARE walks,

saw us through the onset of several new allergies,

and kindly agreed to be part of our newonline membership group!

Allergist Dr. Kaufmann

But my “luck” doesn’t stop there.

Many of our readers know that we are also now blessed to have my father-in-law working in Dr. Siri’s office as a fellow physician.

Dr. Kaufmann brings over 40 years of specialized medical experience and a love of trial work to the office,

and we are ever grateful to have Grandpa taking part in our current allergy care.

Allergy Desensitizing

Because of these two incredible human beings,

we were able to begin a very intentional and systematic desensitizing regimen for my son’s severe allergies in 2016.

And our journey to allergy freedom continues as we speak.

As you can imagine, all this amazing support had me bursting at the seams,

and it was just too much to keep this progress to ourselves.

At Milk Allergy Mom, we’ve always been about sharing our story and offering encouragement to families who need it.

That’s why we decided it was the perfect time to start the next new adventure here at Milk Allergy Mom,

Milk Allergy Mom Membership…with a private online support group.

It’s where we can share our allergists and our latest endeavors with you, our allergy friends.

So friend, if you’re a food allergy family looking for one-of-a-kind support, we invite you to join us!

Online Milk Allergy Mom Membership

Dr. Siri and Dr. Kaufmann generously make themselves available once a month to do live Q&A’s inside our membership.

In fact, we have built up quite a video library already.

And my family is committed to sharing our real life food allergy story inside this private space with those who want to be a part of it.

The information that these physicians generously share inside our membership is empowering our member families…

to ask good questions of their own doctors,

to find allergists who best fit their needs,

and sometimes to even make big changes in their allergy journey!

Member Testimonial

One of the moms in our support group recently shared this after a successful peanut challenge:

“I don’t think I would have sought out a new allergist…if it wasn’t for you, everyone in here, and all the knowledge I have gained from being a part of this. We would have just been dismayed and feeling stuck like we were for the previous 6 years.”

Happy tears, you guys!

We at Milk Allergy Mom and Dr. Siri’s office are working to bring as much allergy support to our food allergy community as possible.

We are in this together.
