Dairy-Free Coconut Milk at Dunkin

If you're a coconut milk fan, here's great news for you.

Dunkin' Donuts can now make your favorite drinks with coconut milk!

I've tested out a few and am ready to declare my favorite.

If you've read old posts of mine, you may see I once said almond milk was my all time favorite dairy-free milk...especially for coffee drinks.

But I lied.

Just kidding, I didn't lie on purpose.

Truly, I loved almond milk...until one day I realized while drinking an almond milk latte on an empty stomach that it was the culprit of my chronic tummy pains for years.

Wow, that was a life-changing epiphany!

I'm also not tolerant of a lot of dairy. Gee, kiddo must get his allergy from me.

However, my kids both choose almond milk for their dairy-free substitute.

So that's what we had in the house for years, and that's what I used, too.

It wasn't until a few years ago I realized I don't tolerate that well, in addition to dairy.

Makes sense because I later tested allergic to almond.

Anyone else just now realizing your kids probably got their food allergies from you? Eeeeep!

As much as I liked almond milk, I even more liked not having my stomach in knots all the time.

So it was time to find my own dairy-free milk substitute, and coconut has been a God-send.

It's creamy, it tastes good, and my body approves.

Y'all know I love me some coconut lattes at Starbucks.

But I was living for the day that Dunkin also carried coconut milk.

They've had almond milk for a few years, and it was definitely time.

Then bam! Dunkin went coconut a few months ago, and all my (coffee) dreams came true.

PS: You can still order almond milk if that's your jive.

Right away, I had to try all the coconut milk options.

Coconut refreshers

Coconut milk lattes

Cold brew with coconut milk

Coconut milk macchiato

Winner, winner...coconut macchiato.

Not a caramel macchiato although you could have the caramel syrup added.

Just espresso and coconut milk, layered in perfection. YUM!

The refreshers included some coconut syrup, but I don't like drinks too sweet.

Cold brew and lattes are always good, I like coconut in my coffee to keep my acid reflux under control.

But boy do I dig that macchiato. Not sweet, layered, and delicious!

Add a dairy-free, gluten-free Dunkin brownie to my order...ahhhhhhhhh happy place!

That's where I'll take my sugar.

Fortunately for me, or not, Dunkin is just around the corner from my house.

So this will be dangerous to my pocketbook.

I should still take time to make my own cold brew lattes at home, but a drive thru treat is always fun!

Allergy moms deserve that.

Let me know your DD order in the comments, I'd love to chat coffee with ya.
