As a milk allergy mom, I’ve experimented with a lot of milk alternatives.
And I always come back to almond milk being my favorite.
In fact, I was begging Starbucks to carry it long before they ventured beyond soy.
Now I’m thrilled to be able to stop into Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts and even local coffee shops to find almond milk options for my milk-free lattes.
PLEASE NOTE: Here at Milk Allergy Mom, we simply share products that work for our family. Please consult your own doctor before trying food, supplements, or other products. Also read all labels and call companies for the latest, most accurate product information.
But there’s something special about the new convenience of grabbing an almond milk coffee, in various flavors, made by Califia Farms.
Not only are these in local health markets but also in mainstream stores like Target.
That’s my second home.
When I can grab a latte in the grocery store, my kids can join in the fun and grab their favorite bottled drinks, too.
Everyone leaves content and happy,
and I have no mommy-guilt about going through a drive-through and leaving them out.
I can’t trust coffee shops with anaphylactic allergies!
This mocha flavor that I bought one day was labeled free of soy, dairy, gluten, carrageenan, GMO, and BPA.
And it’s vegan and kosher.
The price and taste are comparable and even better than the drive-thru in my opinion.
When I pour this over ice at home, it’s about the same volume as the coffee shop at half the cost.
Score!
Be sure to check the cold brew label yourself, ingredients can change!
