I'm a mom. And moms know chicken strips.
Ha ha!
Oh my goodness, I remember my little sister on vacation one year...
ordering "chicken strips" at every single meal for an entire week.
She was five years old, and it was so predictable and funny.
I'm glad she's expanded her pallet as a young adult, lol.
But my point is, kids love chicken strips!
And if you're a mom, you already know this.
So of course, as a milk allergy mom, we had to find something that worked for our food allergy.
Fortunately, Tyson has always been a pretty reliable brand for us.
Just be sure to double check labels because not all their products are dairy-free, and ingredients can change.
Anyways, we most often buy frozen chicken nuggets.
And sometimes we make homemade chicken strips, inspired by Chick-Fil-A.
However, other times, I plop down the big bucks for chicken strips.
Why do chicken strips cost so much more than nuggets? Anyone else curious?
My kids love chicken strips with our homemade honey mustard dressing.
They also eat chicken strips with their favorite barbecue sauce or even ketchup.
We mix it up, ya know?
These chicken strips are also yummy on a bed of lettuce, for a more grown up kinda meal.
Below are the ingredients on our bag of Tyson chicken strips. Always check labels for yourself, too.
If you need to call companies for manufacturing info per your allergist, please be sure to do that, as well.
Let us know in the comments if your family already eats these chicken strips.
We'd love to hear!
