Disclaimer one.
I personally don't eat dairy-free cheese sticks.
I barely eat dairy cheese sticks.
But when Daiya gave my teenager a chance to be like a normal kid,
I jumped at the chance to buy him dairy-free cheese sticks to try!
Daiya makes them in both mozzarella and cheddar, and we tried both.
Kiddo is a fan of the "yellow cheese" but not the white.
See ingredients below.
But we hear of other milk allergy kiddos being the other way around...
or even liking both.
So if you are going to give them a go, be sure to try both.
Don't stop at just one, you may like one over the other.
My son likes taking these in his school lunch.
He also eats them at home plain as a snack.
I like cutting them into cubes for snack boards like this one!
OTHER DAIYA PRODUCTS WE LIKE
We find the cheese sticks at our local health food store and at Hy-Vee.
But they are sold elsewhere, keep an eye out or request them from your grocer!
Here are the ingredients on our yellow cheddar cheese sticks.
Always double check labels for yourself, they can change.
And let us know if you're a fan in the comments, we'd love to know.
Yellow or white for you?
